Gelsectan®

Gelsectan® is aimed at restoring intestinal function in those patients suffering from disorders due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), which may be related to intestinal hypersensitivity or after taking some drugs, to alleviate and prevent symptoms such as chronic diarrhea or recurrent, bloating, pain, bloating and flatulence..

Gelsectan® is presented  in packages of 15 and 60 capsules.

Warnings:

  • It is not necessary to consult a healthcare professional before using the product. However, it is recommended to do so if symptoms are severe or persistent, or if there are doubts about the diagnosis, especially in elderly people.
  • This medical product is not a pharmacological treatment. If a healthcare professional recommends such treatment, this product can be taken simultaneously.
  • Although no side effects are known, it is not recommended to use the product during pregnancy or the first months of breastfeeding unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.
  • Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
  • Do not use the product if the blister pack is open or damaged.
  • Store the product at a temperature below 25°C. Do not freeze.
  • Keep the product out of reach of children.
  • Any serious incident related to the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the State Secretariat.

Side effects:

  • Apart from cases of individual intolerance, no side effects have been reported at the doses required to achieve a therapeutic effect.
