Treatment of known and suspected cyanide poisoning in all age groups.
Cyanokit® should be administered alongside appropriate decontamination measures and additional therapy.Cyanide is a highly toxic chemical substance. Cyanide poisoning may be caused by exposure to smoke from domestic or industrial fires, inhalation or ingestion of cyanide, or by skin contact with cyanide.
The vial contains 5 g of hydroxocobalamin. After reconstitution of 200 ml of solvent, for every ml of reconstituted solution, there is 25 mg of hydroxocobalamin.
